New regulations (including the F-Gas Regulation and the ChemKlimaschutzV), as well as long-standing ones (e.g., EC Regulation 2037 and the ChemOzonV), require or recommend that personnel performing leak testing or leak detection on systems containing halogenated hydrocarbons demonstrate the appropriate level of expertise. The seminar “Leak Detection and Leak Testing in Refrigeration Technology—Certification of Competence” provides, in a concise format, important theoretical background knowledge and effective practical training in the use of leak detection equipment. The seminar concludes with a theoretical and practical exam.

Participants’ prior knowledge of the design and operation of a refrigeration system and its operating fluids will facilitate participation. Please bring your own leak detector. You can test it and—where possible—use it for the practical exam.
