The accredited testing center for heat pumps!

The PLWP Test Center at ILK Dresden is accredited by DAkkS and supports heat pump manufacturers in quality assurance through impartial, standardized testing at specified operating points. We offer verification testing for heat pumps to confirm their efficiency within the framework of state-recognized test certificates (EHPA seal of approval and HP-KEYMARK).

ILK Dresden operates the accredited PLWP testing center and offers testing of heat pumps for:

• EHPA Seal of Quality
• CEN HP Keymark Certificate (DIN CERTCO)
• Testing in accordance with the ErP Directive
• Verification of energy efficiency for subsidy eligibility (e.g., through BAFA, MCS, Harp)

The PLWP Test Center evaluates various types of air-to-water heat pumps:

• Fixed-speed heat pumps
• Variable-speed heat pumps
• Heat pumps with special designs (direct condensing, with storage tanks, etc.)

Heat pumps can be tested in both compact and split configurations.

The PLWP Test Center is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the following performance and sound measurements:

• DIN EN 14511, DIN EN 14825, and DIN EN 16147
• DIN EN 12102 and DIN EN 9614
