One particularly remarkable achievement for us was the development of a space simulation chamber, which enables satellites to be tested under realistic space conditions before launch.
For many years, we have successfully supported numerous regional, national, and international projects. These long-term collaborations underscore the critical role of application-oriented research in fostering economic success and technological competitiveness.
Testimonials and customer feedback
We are fans of ILK Dresden.
This personal statement by Dr Stefan Jakschik, CEO of ULT AG, made during the ‘60 Years of ILK Dresden’ ceremony, is both a mark of recognition and an incentive for us. It honours the successful collaboration of recent years and encourages us to continue translating application-oriented research into marketable technologies and sustainable innovations for our industry partners in the future.
Since its foundation in 1964, the Dresden Institute for Air and Refrigeration Technology (ILK Dresden) has been synonymous with application-oriented research. We support projects from
- small and medium-sized enterprises,
- the industrial sector, as well as central,
- state and local government
across the entire value chain – from the initial idea through the development of innovative prototypes to market-ready implementation. This enables short innovation cycles to be managed efficiently and sustainable competitive advantages to be secured.
Strong synergies through the targeted integration of basic and industrial research
The targeted integration of basic research and industry-oriented development creates powerful synergies. These form the basis for energy-efficient technologies and economically sustainable solutions.
In all our projects, we work
- in an open-technology manner,
- in a practical manner,
- in a solution-oriented manner
- and in partnership.
