From November 19–21, 2025, the annual conference of the German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association (DKV) took place in Magdeburg. The event brought together experts from academia, industry, and research and offered a diverse program of technical presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities.
A highlight of the conference was the keynote address on Thursday, November 20, at 11 a.m., delivered by Prof. Dr. Frank Wilhelms from the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Bremerhaven. Under the title
“The Beyond EPICA Little Dome C (BELDC) Ice Core”, he presented exciting insights into the research.
