Heat pumps put to the test for the future New measurement methods, standardisation and European efficiency requirements

Thursday, 12 November 2026
9.00 am to 1.00 pm | Online

Heat pump technology faces a wide range of technical and regulatory challenges. In addition to current developments in legislation and standardisation, new measurement and assessment methods, the service life of compressors and the safe use of flammable refrigerants are becoming increasingly important.

A particular focus of the event is the presentation of the VEK research project – Improved Determination of the Efficiency of Combined Heat Pumps. The aim of the project is to further develop measurement and evaluation methods for combination heat pumps and to improve efficiency assessment in the context of overlapping requirements for space heating and domestic hot water production.

The seminar also aims to provide a framework for professional exchange between the research community and industry. Your perspectives and experiences regarding the development and application of heat pump systems are therefore most welcome.
