Objective

Optimization of machines with vibration issues and support of development and design processes

We offer machine dynamic evaluations both numerically and experimentally. Our expertise is based on the complete design and optimization of our own energy systems—from the initial concept to the finished machine.

 

Numerical Analysis

We perform machine dynamic evaluations of components and assemblies. Using ANSYS Mechanical, we apply, among others:

  • Modal analyses to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes
  • Frequency response analyses to evaluate dynamic behavior under defined excitation. This allows critical vibration modes and resonances to be identified at an early stage.

 

Experimental Investigations

To validate and assess real systems, we conduct vibration analyses, including:

  • Run-up and coast-down measurements to identify natural frequencies
  • Impact testing on stationary machines to excite vibration modes and determine existing natural frequencies. We also provide support for in-situ balancing to reduce vibrations during operation.

 

Technical Support

We support your design process with numerical analyses and iterative optimization proposals. As an external partner, we can also provide the entire machine dynamics scope.
