Industrial dust removal systems
Objective
Filtering separators are indispensable in industrial air purification and are therefore an important part of environmental protection. Our studies on filtration, regeneration, and performance behavior serve the energetic optimization as well as cost reduction in the use of filtering separators in industry.
Description
We provide comprehensive tests of filtering separators from industry and agriculture to value their performance, particularly with regard to separation efficiency, pressure loss, and life expectancy. In addition to performance, the regeneration-, filtration-, and energy behavior are also examined.
The tests are carried out in the ILK Dresden pilot plant using a specially developed test rig for filter separators.
The four main types of filter elements of the filter separator can be tested:
- filter bag
- filter cartridge
- filter plate
- filter pocket
The cleaning of the filter elements is carried out using compressed air regeneration. The results of the tests are compiled in a technical report with a detailed evaluation of all measured values.
